Tadej Pogacar became world champion in Zurich in an impressive way. The Slovenian attacked with a hundred kilometres to go and rode the last 52 kilometres solo. Ben O’Connor rode to silver. The sprint for third place was won by Mathieu van der Poel, who took bronze.
